Location: Stirling (preferred)

Full-time: 12-month FTC

Salary: £60,000 – £80,000

Are you an experienced creative professional with a hands-on approach and a passion for design that drives real results? MRG is delighted to be working with one of our financial services clients, who is looking to recruit a Creative Lead to transform the design and creative function, delivering impactful, on-brand assets that bring marketing campaigns and client engagement strategies to life.

You’ll lead a talented in-house creative team, working across a wide range of formats—from regulatory documents and digital graphics to video, exhibitions, brochures and more. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, loves rolling up their sleeves, and has the leadership skills to inspire and elevate creative output across the board.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead & Inspire a team of designers and creatives, championing innovation and high standards.
  • Align Creativity with Strategy – execute brand-aligned creative strategies that support marketing and business goals.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally with marketing and internal stakeholders to bring campaigns to life.
  • Manage the Creative Process end-to-end—from concept to delivery—on time, on budget, and on brand.
  • Oversee Asset Production including:
  • Regulatory documents
  • Email/web graphics
  • Exhibition materials
  • Video content
  • Brochures, magazines & PDFs
  • Stay Ahead of Trends and embed best practices to ensure our creative output remains fresh, modern and effective.
  • Coordinate External Agencies & Vendors when required.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing or similar.
  • 5+ years in a creative leadership role (agency or in-house).
  • A strong, diverse portfolio of standout creative work.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strategic thinking, with a sharp eye for detail and strong understanding of branding and marketing principles.
  • Experience in video production/editing and a good grasp of web design/UX.
  • Familiarity with digital content and social media creative.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
