Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Systems Engineer to join a global engineering manufacturer.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Systems Engineer will ideally be both electrically and mechanically competent with some knowledge of programming.

The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Systems Engineer shall carry out pre-planned Service, Installation and Breakdown visits on a wide range of strapping and stretch wrapping machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out pre-planned Service, Installation and Breakdown visits on a wide range of strapping and stretch wrapping machinery and associated electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Liaise with various engineering departments
• Full product training provided
• Will ideally be based in in the Midlands or Yorkshire but be flexible to travel across the UK and Ireland.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Systems Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Service Technician or similar.
• Field service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering equipment.
• Full UK driving license.
• Flexible for overtime/part of the on-call rota.
• A technical electrical/mechanical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, degree or would be advantageous.
