Fidarsi are partnering with an established Investment Manager to hire an Employee Relations Specialist on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract.

The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for fostering a positive work environment by handling employee relations matters, managing case investigations, and driving organisational development initiatives. This role focuses on building a strong workplace culture, ensuring compliance with labour laws, resolving conflicts, and implementing OD strategies to enhance employee engagement, performance, and leadership development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including workplace conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, misconduct, and policy violations, ensuring fairness and legal compliance.
  • Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures that align with company culture and legal requirements.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Mediate disputes between employees or between employees and management to maintain a productive workplace.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee relations cases, documenting investigations and resolutions appropriately.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to develop training programs on workplace policies, diversity & inclusion, and leadership development.
  • Monitor and analyse employee relations trends to proactively address potential issues and recommend solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in employee relations, HR generalist roles, or labour relations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations and handling sensitive matters with confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
