Commercial Property Lawyer

Job Description

We are currently partnering with a Local Authority based in Great Manchester, who are recruiting for a Commercial Property Lawyer to join their growing team on a three-month locum contract with opportunities to be extended.

This is a full-time position offering remote working with an hourly rate of £50 – £60 per hour via an Umbrella company. The hiring manager is looking to interview and get someone started as soon as possible.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Undertaking a mixed caseload of Commercial Property matters
• Handling cases such as leases, licenses and sales and purchases of land, landlord and tenant matters, and disposals and acquisitions
• Supporting development projects including drafting and completing conditional agreements for lease
• Providing detailed advice in all areas of freehold and leasehold property law and to carry out research when necessary

Experience required:

• Local Government experience desirable

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday – Friday
