Location: Candidate to be based in the North, anywhere near the York, Leeds, Sheffield areas

Working Hours: 40 hour work week worked Monday to Friday

Salary: £45,000-£55,000 dependent on experience!

Tersus, part of the Marlowe Environmental Services Group, is looking for an experienced Senior Principal Designer/CDM Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 for our clients, helping to drive safety and best practices across a range of projects.

Requirements

What will you be doing?

  • Liaising with Clients, Designers, and Contractors as required for each scheme
  • Attending design reviews and design team meetings
  • Advising Clients, Designers, and Contractors on their duties under CDM 2015 regulations
  • Participating in pre-start and progress meetings
  • Supporting and mentoring junior/trainee CDM Consultants
  • Overseeing Quality Management System processes, including corrective actions, purchasing, training, and production of QMS-related information
  • Undertaking additional duties in line with job responsibilities as required

What experience do you need?

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or working towards a NEBOSH Diploma)
  • In-depth knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations and associated Approved Code of Practice
  • Previous experience in CDM Coordination within a consultancy environment
  • Registered CDMC Membership of the Association for Project Safety (RMaPS)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in IT and relevant software

Desirable:

  • Technician Membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (TechIOSH)
