Job Title: Health & Safety and Environmental Lead

About the Company: Venn Group has been approached by a leading housing association in Teeside to recruit for a Health & Safety and Environmental Lead on a temporary ongoing basis in the Northeast.

About the Role: As the successful candidate, you will have experience in health and safety management within a repairs and maintenance environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting audits on repairs teams, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Performing planned checks on the property portfolio
• Carrying out health & safety audits and spot checks within the company’s repairs department
• Overseeing health & safety planned inspections of the company’s commercial building stock
• Undertaking COSHH assessments and reviewing risk assessments and safe operating procedures
• Providing guidance and answering day-to-day health and safety queries

Qualifications:

• NEBOSH General Certificate and/or NEBOSH Construction Certificate
• ISO 45001/ISO 14001 Internal Auditor
• Tech. IOSH Member

Pay range and compensation package: £30.09/hr Umbrella
