Location: Warton or Brough

Salary: £55,000-£65,000 + 10% Bonus

As an Air Sector Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the way engineering solutions are developed and delivered. You will lead highly skilled teams working on cutting-edge aviation projects, ensuring innovation, efficiency, and best practices across the full engineering lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering teams delivering complex, high-profile aerospace projects.

• Oversee systems engineering activities across the entire product lifecycle, from concept through to in-service support.

• Drive innovation and excellence in engineering practices, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with project management, HR, and technical specialists to enhance engineering capability.

• Develop and implement engineering strategies, ensuring robust governance and high-quality technical outcomes.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

• Strong experience leading teams to deliver complex engineering solutions.

• Expertise in Systems Engineering and the development of complex systems.

• Proven leadership, communication, and people management skills.

Desirable:

• STEM degree and/or Chartered Engineer status.

• Experience working within a highly regulated industry, applying engineering tools, methods, and standards.

• Familiarity with Model-Based Engineering approaches and supporting toolsets.
