Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with BSL Level 2? We are seeking an experienced professional to support students with profound, severe, and complex needs in a specialist school setting.

About the Role:
Provide tailored support to students with additional communication needs.
Work closely with teachers and therapists to enhance student engagement and learning.
Use BSL to facilitate communication and learning in a specialist school setting.
Support the well-being, safety, and development of students aged 4-19.
About You:
- BSL Level 2 qualification (essential).
- Experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with communication challenges.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Requirements:
- Willingness to travel up to an hour to work.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is advantageous.
- Ability to provide personal care support, including toileting and feeding, as needed.
- Strong communication skills, patience, flexibility, and a positive approach.
- Willingness to undergo necessary background checks and obtain clearances.
- Hold, or be willing to apply for, an enhanced DBS (child workforce) on the update service.
