Job Description
- Oversee the logistics solutions function to ensure smooth development transport and distribution operations.
- Develop strategic solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure a seamless workflow.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
- Address any issues or discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide guidance and support to the logistics team.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Solutions Manager should have:
- A degree in Logistics, Transport Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a Warehouse Solutions design within the transport and distribution industry.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations and industry regulations.
- Warehouse modelling expertise in AutoCAD, CLASS, Sketch-up or similar tools.
- Expert experience in data analysis and modelling related logistics industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop strategic solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
