Talent Acquisition and Retention Manager – CIPD level 5 student

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee the operations and management of a diverse portfolio of commercial properties. The ideal candidate will ensure operational efficiency, compliance with legal standards, and deliver exceptional service to tenants and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring efficient operations and tenant satisfaction.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders.
  3. Conduct property inspections and oversee health, safety, and statutory compliance, ensuring adherence to legal and industry standards.
  4. Administer service charge budgets, utilities, and financial reconciliations in coordination with the asset and property management teams.
  5. Maintain accurate property records and compliance documentation, including fire safety and HSE inspections.
  6. Source competitive quotations and manage contractors for maintenance and repair works.
  7. Coordinate access and supervise contractors during inspections, maintenance, and project execution.
  8. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve tenant queries efficiently.
  9. Manage and monitor landlord system contracts, including timely renewals.
  10. Support insurance claims management and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  11. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance asset value and performance.
  12. Update and maintain property management systems for accurate record-keeping and scheduling.
  13. Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  14. Assist with property improvement and refurbishment projects in collaboration with in-house teams.
  15. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management, ensuring transparent communication.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in property management, preferably within commercial properties.
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of handling challenging conversations professionally.
  3. Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with tenants, landlords, and contractors.
  4. Familiarity with UK health and safety regulations and property compliance requirements.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
