Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer – Central London – Up to £45k + Benefits

We are seeking an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join an established multi-disciplined design consultancy based in the heart of London. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects including education, commercial, healthcare, and residential.

Responsibilities:

1. Undertaking electrical services designs from various RIBA/BSRIA Stages.
2. Preparing detailed designs, calculations, specifications, and reports.
3. Liaising with architects, structural engineers, and other design team members to ensure the integration of electrical services.
4. Coordinating with other disciplines to ensure the electrical services are integrated with other building services installations.
5. Working with project managers to ensure projects are delivered within time and budget constraints.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other relevant degree.
2. Previous experience in building services engineering.
3. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Amtech.
4. Knowledge of lighting design and calculations.
5. Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
