Head of Capital Management – 28182

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Head of Capital Management to join the P&C Capital Actuarial team.

Key Duties (including but not limited to):

• Manage the capital management function for the UK branch, overseeing capital and capitalisation activities, including management actions.
• Deliver analysis supporting the buffer and reporting requirements, including quarterly and annual model change reports.
• Successfully run Capital Committees and contribute effectively to business governance fora.
• Deliver and validate regulatory submissions to PRA, including QRTs and templates.

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified Actuary with experience in capital modelling and management.
• Prior experience of regulatory engagement is advantageous.
• Ability to quickly grasp different models, codes, and processes, along with strong commercial acumen.
• Understanding of investment assets and their characteristics is desirable.
• A serious and professional attitude towards compliance with regulatory submissions, with a keen attention to detail to support accuracy.
