A London based banking institution, has a fantastic opportunity for a talented accountant to join a dynamic team and contribute to management, financial and regulatory reporting and assist with finance projects.

Job Responsibilities

This role will report to the CFO and as a Management & Regulatory Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing regulatory reports, including FINREP, COREP, PRA110, and other FSA-related submissions.
  • Managing budgeting and forecasting processes to support accurate financial planning.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models to aid strategic decision-making.
  • Producing performance reports, including variance analysis and monthly management information (MI).
  • Preparing financial statements in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Overseeing transfer pricing processes and ensuring compliance with group policies.
  • Managing VAT returns and ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

Essential Criteria:

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge and experience in FINREP, COREP, PRA110, and FSA regulatory reporting.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
  • Demonstrated experience in producing monthly MI, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
  • Familiarity with transfer pricing and VAT return processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using financial reporting tools.
  • 5 years+ Banking experience.
  • IFRS experience would be preferable.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
