A prestigious tier 1 international law firm is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mid-Level Soft IP Litigation Associate to join its award-winning team. This firm is renowned for its excellence in intellectual property law and provides a collaborative and dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in soft intellectual property litigation, demonstrating both technical expertise and a keen understanding of client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Litigation Management: Handle a diverse portfolio of soft IP litigation matters, including trademark, copyright, and trade dress disputes. Manage cases from initial intake through discovery, trial, and appeal, ensuring strategic alignment with client objectives.
- Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research on soft IP laws and relevant case law to support litigation strategy. Analyze complex legal issues and draft comprehensive memoranda and legal briefs.
- Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing timely updates on case progress and advising on legal strategy. Attend client meetings and present findings and recommendations effectively.
- Drafting and Filing: Prepare and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior associates and partners to develop litigation strategies. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams within the firm to leverage expertise in related areas of law.
- Mentorship and Training: Assist in the mentoring and training of junior associates and interns, fostering a supportive and educational environment within the team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in soft IP litigation, preferably in a tier 1 law firm environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing cases and interacting with clients.
