The Role / Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Sales and Relationship Management for Global Tier 1 Insurance clients.
  • Manage a team of sales professionals by periodically reviewing account coverage and developing new clients.
  • Set direction and policies for sales activities and execute these plans.
  • In partnership with other senior sales staff, identify business opportunities for new product development through market and client exposure.
  • Work with marketing and product strategy teams to drive sales initiatives, grow the franchise, and expand the MA footprint in the Insurance sector.
  • Collaborate with relevant partners and stakeholders in the industry – consultants, associations, regulators, etc.
  • Assist Finance in developing strategic corporate plans by forecasting multi-year sales growth for the area of responsibility.
  • Drive continuous service improvement with the ultimate goal of revenue production and retention.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture and environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related area required; graduate degree (e.g., Master’s/MBA) preferred.
  • Experience in a sales role within a software/services organization with a successful track record in sales, preferably selling solutions to the global marketplace.
  • Significant experience in managing multiple sales professionals.
  • Understanding of the entire spectrum of the insurance industry, particularly the risks it manages and is exposed to, the environment it operates in, as well as the regulatory landscape.
  • Experience with insurance solutions such as investment/ALM, actuarial, regulatory, reporting, credit and market risk, NatCat, Cyber is highly preferred.
  • Ability to sell on a needs/solutions approach.
  • Ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills as well as outstanding client relationship management experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Second European language (French, German) preferred. Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
  • Ability to multitask and meet short deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail.
